Indian laurel is an evergreen tree in Moraceae family with a rounded dense crown, smooth gray bark, milky sap, and long, thin, dangling aerial roots. Leaves alternate, simple, leathery, deep glossy green, oval elliptic to diamond shaped.

Ornamental Use:

Good to keep inside homes and terraces as specimen plant, foliage plant etc.

Medicinal Use:

It is found to have good healing property and is used in preparation of oils and ointments for external application in the treatment of ulcers
